JOINT STATEMENT, OFFICE OF THE CHANCELLOR AND DEAN:
Today, The IJ Crew Association of America (IJC), issued the following statement after President Donald Trump made the warming remarks about his full support of the American Jewish community.
Chancellor Hannah Finkel, chancellor and chief professional officer of IJC stated:
“The American Jewish community has been subjected to a tremendous amount of anti-Semitic incidents. We are warmed by today’s statement by President Donald Trump, that 'the anti-Semitic threats targeting our Jewish community, and community centers, are horrible and painful.' We appreciate the support of President Trump and the United States government".
Izak Held, dean and executive vice chancellor stated "We applaud Vice President Mike Pence for his immediate assistance in cleaning up the vandalized cemetery, and are humbled by his great length of efforts for this unfortunate event". IJC continues to support our local and national Jewish communities and friends, and look forward to a safe and secure religious environment for the practices of the Jewish people.
