Chancellor Izak Held has announced the appointment of Rachie Ehrlich as the association's fourth Executive Director. Chancellor Held and the Board of Marshals have also changed the position of Association Executive Director to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Chancellor Held would like to thank Sender Gross for his service as Executive Director for the past 3 years. The role as executive director is to oversea the organization as the chief administrative officer, vicariously from the chancellor. COO Ehrlich will also gain rank as Executive Vice Chancellor.
Rachie Ehrlich has previously served as Interim Vice Chancellor and Associate Vice Chancellor for Learning and Education. She holds the rank of Ambassador and started her career as an Assistant to the Dean. Ehrlich has held positions as Instructor at Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School and Research Associate at Touro College. Sender Gross is the former Managing Editor of the WHJ Times, one of the top innovative newspapers in Long Island, NY. Sender has recently served on the Regional Board of New York NCSY and served as youth chair of the eitz chaim of dogwood park. Sender has held various director roles at IJ Crew, Assistant to the Director (2009), Head of Admissions (2010), Director of Communications and Programs (2010-2012). In 2013 he became Associate Executive Director until his promotion in 2015 as a vice chancellor and managing director. Sender's strong record and impressive new ideas gave him the direction of becoming a major asset and now as executive director is second in command of the professional operations. |
