Chancellor Appoints New Executive Director

Chancellor Hannah Finkel has announced the appointment of Sender Gross as the association's third Executive Director. Chancellor Finkel would like to thank Izak Held for his service as Executive Director for the past 6 years. The role as executive director is to oversea the organization as the chief administrative officer, vicariously from the chancellor. Director Gross will also operate as the head of the office of the chancellor and board operations.

Sender Gross is the former Managing Editor of the WHJ Times, one of the top innovative newspapers in Long Island, NY. Sender has recently served on the Regional Board of New York NCSY and served as youth chair of the eitz chaim of dogwood park. Sender has held various director roles at IJ Crew, Assistant to the Director (2009), Head of Admissions (2010), Director of Communications and Programs (2010-2012). In 2013 he became Associate Executive Director until his promotion in 2015 as a vice chancellor and managing director. Sender's strong record and impressive new ideas gave him the direction of becoming a major asset and now as executive director is second in command of the professional operations.

As the association grows we will continue to announce our advancements who will join leadership and or gain rank. This is IJ Crew's time to shine!
